Songs:
Girls Use Deodorant These Days
The Dirty Sheet Complacency
Kate
Nougotowa Crush
Very new band from our hometown Berlin who’s debut 7"/CDS (FST 026) hits the dancefloors all over the world. Perfect popmusic with great vocals and brilliant guitars that will remind you of the early works by The Cardigans or the current outputs by Cherry Orchard.
This
brandnew Berlin-based band formed by Bendrik Muhs brings you pop music in
perfection. Trumpet driven catchy melodies with a crystal clear voice, that will
remind you of the best moments of Style Council, Stars, Cherry Orchard and early
Cardigans. After listening to the songs of this 4-track 7" / CDEP you'll be
hungry for more. Both formats include the same songs, but have different lovely
artworks. So collectors, be aware ! The next great song by Avocadoclub can be
found on our freshly released FST compilation called 'I tried a thousand times,
a thousand times to change your mind'.

Who said Berlin was a grey city
in where the sun never shines and that everything smells a bit after
weltschmerz? Definitely not for this Berlin based popband as this is golden
sunshinny pop with trumpets and melodies to shake your ass... At times a bit
old-fashioned (of course if it sounds a bit like Lloyd Cole's
,,Rattlesnakes" then it might be as antique as can be) but enough talent to
say The Avacado Club are part of that fine club that is known as that league of
fine indieclubs that is only known by the elite just because that elite knows
that they're at the good side. I know couldn't say it any more stupid but I just
can't find reasons why bands like these aren't much more famous as they play
what the public wants : pop. Or is it just me and some others who haven't
understood what real pop means?
